It's rare for me to get a chance to draw a great male model. Ernesto looks like he stepped out of a Tintoretto painting.
Two very different drawings:
Here is a small - 8" x 10" oil I did of some cherries. I find it quite hard to be confined by the small sized canvas.
Before I can properly paint the three dimensionality of the stems, I need time for the slow drying reds to harden enough for them to be painted on.
