I've been working on this far too long...beets are nasty, foul things. Seemed like a good idea at the time when I saw them in the market, but they fade color and the leaves die within a few minutes, and spraying with water doesn't help for more than a second or two. I'm running to the store to buy more beets and radishes constantly. At least I can eat the radishes.

I really like your self portrait.
Great job on the self portrait and the one of Becky. I love the beets (the painting not the veggie). Wonderful color in it, even if it was fading fast while you painted it.
